Florivox presents:

Celebrating Canada's 150th with Glorious Music

Sunday, June 18th

Grace Church on-the-Hill

300 Lonsdale Rd.

In their final concert of the season, Florivox of Univox Choirs Toronto invites you to Celebrate Canada’s 150th with GLORIOUS MUSIC.  Featuring Sneak Peek Orchestra, Florivox will perform a wide range of works including a stunning setting of Psalm 23 by Z. Randall Stroope and Morten Lauridsen’s Dirait-On which brings music to the words of poet Rainer Maria Rilke.  The choir will pay homage to our country’s anniversary celebrations with Oscar Brand’s Canadiana folk number Something to Sing About arranged by our very own Joshua Tamayo and the premiere of a new piece commissioned for Florivox from internationally-renowned Canadian composer Kathleen Allan.  A major highlight of the concert will be a performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria in its entirety, a glorious pairing of choir and orchestra.  Don’t miss this musical celebration led by Florivox conductor Joshua Tamayo!
