Singing at Nuit Blanche for ‘All Together Now’

We are invited to participate in a special Nuit Blanche exhibition called 'All Together Now'.

All Together Now is a choir project exhibition organized for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2014 by Hart House's Justina M. Barnicke Gallery.  The focus is on choir format and its capacities for inspiring feelings of togetherness, communicating shared memory and history, and – occasionally – provoking less than harmonious results. Nine video installations and sound works by Canadian and international artists will resonate throughout Hart House, accompanied by on-the-hour performances by ten choirs from the Toronto community.

Univox is performing at midnight in the East Common Room of Hart House.  Throughout the night, other featured performances by Choir! Choir! Choir!, Common Thread Community Chorus, Darbazi, the Element Choir, Florivox, the Hart House Singers, kith+kin, Singing Out, and Tunes. Beats. Awesome. as well as video installations featuring works by Sara Angelucci, Johanna Billing, Brian Joseph Davis, Brendan Fernandes, Mikhail Karikis & Uriel Orlow, Ian Skedd, Althea Thauberger, and Paul Walde will take place.
